Congratulations to the ten (10) athletes who represented the Centre with distinction at the State Track and Field Championships over the last two (2) weekends. There were some personal best times and distances set, but just reaching this level of competition was a great achievement. Under 12 athlete, Maiya Hewitt, performed magnificently winning gold in the Long Jump and silver in the Triple Jump and 400m.

Don’t forget that our annual Presentation Day will be held from 4:00pm on Saturday 17th April at Kiama Leagues Club. A reminder that athletes must have attended a minimum of 60% of competition mornings and/or evenings to be eligible for end of season awards. Please note that “Orientation Days” are not included in this calculation. Athlete attendance can be checked here.
We would like to take this opportunity to ask you to attend our AGM and consider becoming a member of our Committee for the 2021-2022 season. The Centre needs new Committee members to ensure it remains viable and to ultimately guarantee Little Athletics will continue in Kiama come September.
