Kiama Little Athletics 2023-24 season continued last Saturday on a beautiful Spring morning.
It was terrific to see so many new faces joining Little Athletics for the first time. Saturday was our second and final “Orientation Day” designed to give athletes and parents the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the various events. It also gave the parent helpers a chance to learn how to measure, record and assist at events.
Point score competition commences next Saturday so make sure you are there at 9:00am sharp!
Don’t forget that the aim of the Centre’s point score is to encourage all athletes to improve their own personal best efforts. It does not award points for winning but for improving.
It’s not too late to join in the fun and bring your kids along. We will continue to take registrations during the season but ask that you arrive half an hour prior to the scheduled start time.
Please note that all registrations must be completed online this season.
If you are interested in joining us register online and visit Kiama Sports Complex around 8:30am on Saturday morning to complete the registration process. Please ensure that you bring your invoice with you. Uniforms can also be purchased at this time.
