Kiama athletes performed admirably at the Mid South Coast Zone championships held at the Ron Brown Sporting Complex, Park Road, Nowra, on the 2nd & 3rd of December 2023.
Against some tough competition from the Albion Park, Lake Illawarra, Milton Ulladulla, Shoalhaven and St Georges Basin Centres, Kiama athletes did the Centre proud.
Athletes from the Under 8 to Under 17 Age Groups who finished in the top three (3) progress to the Region 4 Championships to be held at the Kerryn McCann Athletic Centre, Wollongong, in early February 2024.
Kiama’s gold medal winners on the weekend were Stephen Alfano (Under 14), Sinclair Davis (Under 13), McKenzie Harding (Under 8), Ella Hewitt (Under 17), Maiya Hewitt (Under 15), Henry Keane (Under 12), Rudy Keane (Under 12), Archie Turano-Lyall (Under 11), Billy Winchester (Under 9), Isaac Winchester (Under 11) and Levi Winchester (Under 8).
