Kiama athletes performed admirably at the Mid South Coast Zone championships held at John O’Dwyer Oval, Croome Road Sporting Complex, on the 3rd & 4th of December 2022.
Against some tough competition from the Albion Park, Lake Illawarra, Shoalhaven, St Georges Basin, and Milton Ulladulla Centres, Kiama athletes did the club proud.
Athletes from the Under 8 to Under 17 Age Groups who finished in the top three (3) progress to the Region 4 Championships to be held at West End Sports Stadium, Merrowie Street, Griffith, in early February 2023.
Kiama’s gold medal winners on the weekend were Stephen Alfano (Under 13), Elsey Chapman (Under 9), Harley Garvan (Under 11), McKenzie Harding (Under 7), Zoe Haylen (Under 17), Ella Hewitt (Under 17), Maiya Hewitt (Under 14), Elijah Hole (Under 9), Matilda Hole (Under 7), Samson Hole (Under 11), Henry Keane (Under 11), Temana Searle (Under 12), Amelia Weatherlake (Under 17) and Isaac Winchester (Under 10).
